We have all contributed to the redefinition of the index to ensure a complete and valuable end product. TREE training course: Zeus and AINP will take care of the drafting of the training modules by the end of October, following the AdIM guidelines. The partners will continue to implement the national activities face-to-face, and in the first days of November we will meet again to discuss the results and define together the modalities of implementation of the modules. November Multiplier Event: Planning for the multiplier event, scheduled for November, is in full swing! Each partner is working to organize an in-person event that will involve at least 25 participants. It will be an important opportunity to share our methodologies and the results achieved. Situational scenarios: ZEUS has presented a roadmap for the development of multimedia scenarios, which will be completed by February 2025. Each partner will contribute with the description of three scenarios, which will serve to make our project even more interactive and engaging. Following the monitoring meeting, we prepare to enter the final phase of the project with a clear vision of the objectives to be achieved. With the upcoming submission of the Best Practice Handbook and the November multiplier event planned, partners are ready to continue their work with dedication and a spirit of collaboration.

II TRANSNATIONAL MEETING – GREECE

II TRANSNATIONAL MEETING – GREECE May 23-24, 2024 as part of the ERASMUS+ project. TREE – Training and Resources to Enable a Green Era. On May 23-24, 2024, the second transnational meeting of the TREE project took place in Palaio Faliro, Greece, where the partners reviewed the actions taken so far and planned the next steps. The meeting addressed the progress of the “Best Practices Manual,” which is currently being developed through in-depth research and needs analysis conducted by the partners on best practices for green skills development and innovative educational approaches. The national workshops held in March 2024 engaged experts, businesses, and professionals to explore environmental sustainability practices and the current state of green skills among workers. The results of these workshops were discussed during the meeting, and the decision was made to conduct additional interviews to further clarify best practices and pressing needs in green skills. The team reached a preliminary agreement on key aspects such as the target audience for the training course, topics for situational scenarios, and training materials and resources. Additionally, it was agreed that by November 2024, each partner would organize a multiplier event to disseminate the results of the project’s first phase and test some of the training course content. On May 23 and 24, 2024, the second transnational meeting was held in Palaio Faliro (Greece). The Partners summarized the actions carried out so far and planned the next activities. It is recalled that the “Manual of Good Practices” is being developed as a result of extensive research and needs analysis done by all partners regarding best practices in green skills development and innovative educational approaches already in use. The last action put in place as part of the project was the national workshop that each partner held in their country in March 2024 on environmental sustainability and green skills enhancement practices, which involved experts, companies or professionals to learn about the best practices already implemented in reducing environmental impact and to learn about the current state of workers’ green skills. The team, during the II transnational meeting, discussed the results of the national workshops by scheduling a series of ad hoc interviews of some of the participants in order to bring out as clearly as possible the best practices implemented and, at the same time, the most pregnant needs for green skills. The outcome of the interviews, combined with the results of the research carried out by each partner in their respective countries, will determine more precisely the key elements for defining the program related to the TREE training course and situational scenarios. Preliminary agreement in principle was reached, however, on some very important points for achieving the project’s objectives, including: the target audience for the training course, topics for developing situational scenarios, and training materials and resources. In addition, it was agreed that by next November a multiplier event in presence will be held by each partner to disseminate the results of the first part of the project (good practice manual) and test some contents of the training course.

Erasmus+ TREE Project: Monitoring meeting – 13 February 2024

he meeting on 13 February 2024 focused on presenting the results of the desk research and comparing green skills in the various countries. New Project showed a comparative report, highlighting missing soft skills. The partners agreed to send questionnaires via email to collect business practices on green skills and organize national workshops by March. Deadlines have been set for data collection and implementation of the workshops, with the aim of sharing the results by mid-April. The second transnational meeting has been planned for 23 and 24 May in Athens. Meeting of 13 February 2024: Research Results, Questionnaires and Planning of the Second Transnational Meeting. The meeting of 13.02.2024 was held which focused on desk research highlighting the main findings and commonalities between the researches of each country. In particular, New Project showed a power-point presentation of the comparative report; It highlights key findings and commonalities between each country’s research, but also missing soft skills that might be interesting to focus on. Secondly, the team discussed the next phase of research activities and defined the model for data collection through the national workshop and how to implement it. The partners agreed to create and then send questionnaires via e-mail aimed at investigating the practices implemented by companies to facilitate the development of green skills. The main deadlines by which the partners will participate in the definition of the applications to investigate the most important aspects have been defined: 13/02-20/02 AdIM and Zeus will send the applications in English to the Spanish partner; 21/02-29/02 the Spanish partner NewProject will develop the common questionnaires that each partner will use for their national result and translated into their own language. Again, on 01/03-15/03 by the first half of March each partner will organize an online workshop, involving the representatives of the target group (there is no minimum number to reach, there can also be two or three targets). The workshop can also be conducted using the questionnaire as a guideline for discussion and comparison among participants. To demonstrate the realization of the workshop, then, it is necessary to have an agenda, an activity to promote the event, as well as multimedia presentations useful for conducting the discussion. In order to reach a significant target group, which allows 3 best practices to be identified, it was decided to send questionnaires by e-mail and collect more results. In order to prevent any problems with the scheduling of the workshops on the scheduled days, the partners may carry it out after sending the questionnaire with a deadline of the first half of April. In fact, at that time, precisely by April 15, the team will share the main results collected at national level and, starting from these, will discuss and agree on the model to be used for the interviews. Instead, by May 15 each partner will carry out three interviews to select good practices and in the second transnational meeting each partner will translate the results of the interview into English.  The last step of the monitoring meeting was then to agree on the dates of the second transnational meeting. It was decided to hold the second meeting in person on 23 and 24 May in Athens. While waiting for a final confirmation from Zeus consulting about the dates of the next meeting, the partners work to achieve the objectives set during the monitoring.

TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR A GREEN ERA

On 2 and 3 November, the first transnational meeting was held in Cadiz (Spain). During the first day of work, the team discussed the TREE Project’s aims, specific objectives, targets, activities and expected results, agreeing on the need to better define the area in which transnational green skills will be investigated. The team consists of AdIM Srl-Mediterranean Information Agency, as promoter and leader as lead partner, and two European partners:– AiNP -Agencia Internacional Newproject based in Cádiz and Valencia (Spain), which focuses on socio-educational projects and Social Innovation with the development of applications, ideas, concepts, products, services, methodologies and practices that contribute to bringing about changes in society in a collaborative way with the business environment;– Zeus Consulting IKE based in Palaio Faliro and Thessaloniki (Greece), which offers consultancy services in the fields of technology, information technology, regional development, employment, innovation, environment, management and international collaborations, with particular expertise in the implementation and technical support of European Union programmes and initiatives in these areas.Rafael Candon and Inna Nikushina of AiNP -Agencia Internacional Newproject, as lead partners in the activity of drafting the Manual of Good Practices, presented a proposal on how to design the Manual, agreeing with the other partners to carry out research, each on its own national territory, on the offer and provision of VET (Vocational Education and Training) training courses that include the acquisition of transversal green skills. Luciano Mattina from AdIM Srl – Mediterranean Information Agency, with the masterful support of Irene Aprile, main partner in the communication and dissemination activity, illustrated the project’s communication strategy and quality plan. Zeus Consulting IKE, represented on this occasion by Konstantinos Voukydis, who was mainly involved in the design of the situational scenarios within the framework of the training course to be held in the next phase of the project, contributed to the planning of the preparatory activities for the drafting of the Manual. The team discussed the three different moments of the Handbook’s implementation:– Desk research, by the end of January 2024;– National workshop, February to end of March 2024;– Interviews, April to May 2024. After the research, each partner will organise a national online workshop to involve experts, companies or professionals and learn, through subsequent interviews,  about the bestpractices already implemented aimed at reducing the environmental impact and improving the green skills of their workers (waste management, reducing water supply, reducing energy consumption and supply). On the basis of this research activity, a first draft of the Handbook will be drafted and examined during the second transnational meeting to be held in the first half of June in Greece at the premises of the partner Zeus Consulting IKE. The second day of this first transnational meeting began with a short tour of the lovely city of Cadiz, kindly offered by Rafael Candon, President of AiNP -Agencia Internacional Newproject, at the end of which the team reconvened to listen to a brilliant talk by Antonio J. Albarràn, consultant and environmental educator, sustainability expert and manager of the company ‘Ciconia – Consultores Ambientales’, and focus on specific projects and green skills in the areas of work and training.
