First Tree project meeting: Spain, Italy, Greece.

The first meeting of the TREE project saw the presentation of the partners involved: AdIM, Agencia Internacional Newproject and Research Zeus Consulting. During the meeting, the objectives of the project, in line with the Erasmus+ K2 programme, and the next steps, including three meetings between 2023 and 2025, were defined. The development of a handbook on best practices to improve green skills and promote employability in the green economy sector is planned, with a focus on eco-sustainability, green skills and green economy. TREE Project: European Collaboration for the Development of Green Skills. As previously pointed out, the first meeting between the partners of the TREE project was held. The first to make the presentations was AdIM which is an information agency that operates in the regional territory of Campania (Italy) and is the leader despite being at the first experience of collaboration with European partners. This is followed by the presentation of the Spanish partner based in Cadiz-Agencia Internacional Newproject, which deals with socio-educational projects and Social Innovation with the development of applications, ideas, concepts, products, services, methodologies and practices that contribute to producing changes in society in a collaborative way with the business environment. The presentation ends with the Greek partner – Research Zeus Consulting-The innovation you seek – which offers consulting services in the fields of technology, information technology, regional development, employment, innovation, environment, management and international collaborations, with particular experience in the implementation and technical support of European Union programs and initiatives in these sectors. The presentations were immediately followed by a digression about the project, its significance based on the key points of the Erasmus+ K2 programme, and the identification of the objectives to be achieved with TREE. The subsequent steps of organization of the work were also discussed, in order to obtain a global and unified vision of TREE. in particular, three meetings are planned in the three locations to which the partners belong: the first meeting in Spain in November 2023, followed by the second meeting in Greece in May 2024, ending with the final meeting in Italy in March 2025. In addition, the timetable also included the development of a best practices manual that will have to contain a series of useful knowledge to put in place what are the green skills essential to be able to carry out green jobs. Even more specifically, it has been understood that this manual, and the training courses that will have to be implemented, are intended to improve the levels of competence for employability in view of new job positions within the changing climate scenario. There are three keywords: eco-sustainability, green skills and green economy! In this sense, even more specifically, these objectives would allow us to have a broader view, a more integrated and articulated vision of the environment contingent on organizations (companies, businesses) and how these are in relation to this environment, in order to understand how the knowledge provided is aligned with the new opportunities and new needs in the labor market.
